Bell Bottoms, Bookworms, & Boogie Nights!

Celebrate the Spirit of ’76, seventies style! Join us for a groovy night of retro fun, funky music, and bell-bottom flair. Play, dance, and vibe like it’s 1976!

PROGRAM:

5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Check in

5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Enjoy a complimentary Star Spangled Spritz cocktail and a nosh, boogie to 70s hits, play a round of Boggle, and get some serious Trivia Night Fever! Wine and beer available in Canopy Gardens Hall; two free drink tickets are included with your admission. Soda and water are no charge.

6:45 p.m. Welcoming Remarks by Karen J. DeAngelo, Executive Director, a few words from State Representative Greg Scott and Norristown Council President Rashaad Bates, followed by "Library Resources & Services," a video presentation by Natasha Halovanic, MCNPL Board Member.

7 - 7:45 p.m. Dinner (buffet service). A choice of Caesar or House Salad, a choice of Entrees (Alfredo with Shell Pasta, Baked Cheese & Marinara Ziti, Grilled Chicken, and Meatballs), and Rolls & Butter.

7:45 - 8:15 p.m. Desserts, followed by Door Prize Chaos

PARKING is free. Please enter the parking lot at the Johnson Highway entrance. Once you enter the top parking lot, follow the signs for "Lower lot & Handicapped Parking." This will bring you down a hill (past a gravel parking lot on the right) to the Lower Lot. Once you park, walk up to the Welcome Center entrance to enter the zoo.
